Why don't we make it a campaign to get "aptimized" accepted? I am not going
to use it in any work related documents just yet, but I may try it out in

Personally, I am against "aptimized", because its meaning is not clear.
The word "aptized" could be interpreted as meaning "made apt/appropriate",
but what does adding the "-im-" do? It makes it sound too much like
"optimized", so that "aptimized" would mean "made _most_ apt", which
is not the intended meaning. I suspect that in most cases one could use
a simple wording like "best-yet solution" or "best <design> yet (found)",
whose meaning is immediately clear to the reader.
