A good rate would be one that yielded more income per hour than in other
occupation of comparable conditions, for all of the people involved. It has
nothing to do with the content.
Unless of course you are a purchaser, in which case a good rate would be one
that in total was less than the cost to you of not having the material
translated.
There is a viable industry between these two parameters, and thousands of
hobbyists making bad decisions outside them.
